Freedom For Marijuana!
Marijuana is the third most popular recreational drug in America (behind only alcohol and tobacco), and has been used by nearly 100 million Americans. Although, marijuana is much safer than alcohol and tobacco. Alcohol poisoning causes over 100,000 deaths a year, and tobacco causing over 400,000 a year, while marijuana kicks back and cures cancer!

56 Percent Of Americans Favor Legal Marijuana In New Poll
Fifty-six percent of Americans think
marijuana should be legalized and regulated like alcohol and tobacco,
according to a nationwide Rasmussen poll of 1,00 likely voters.
Asked earlier this month, "Would you favor or oppose legalizing marijuana and regulating it in the similar manner to the way alcohol and
tobacco cigarettes are regulated today?" only 36 percent of likely
voters opposed the concept and 8 percent were undecided.

A cancer-stricken
judge in New York has become an unlikely voice in support of legalizing
the use of medical marijuana with the admission that he smokes pot to
ease the side-effects of his treatments.
Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Gustin Reichbach, who is being treated for pancreatic cancer, wrote in a New York Times article on Thursday that he had been using marijuana provided by friends at "great personal risk" to help him cope with the nausea, sleeplessness and loss of appetite from chemotherapy treatments.
"This is not a law-and-order issue; it is a medical and a human rights issue," wrote Reichbach, 65, who has spent 21 years on the bench in Kings County Supreme Court, and continues to hear cases even as he receives cancer treatment.
In the past, admitting to taking a few puffs of marijuana has been enough to derail some judges' careers. U.S. appeals court Judge Douglas Ginsburg saw his nomination for the U.S. Supreme Court go up in smoke in 1987 after admitting he had used marijuana several times in the 1960s and 1970s.

Here the congress goes in depth to why or why not they want the states to have control of their medical marijuana programs. Obama said he would not crack down on medical marijuana patients and it's about time we hold him to his word! Freedom is our right, NOT a privilege!

According to one national survey on drug use, each day approximately 6,000 Americans try marijuana for the first time. Some for recreation, others for medication. Marijuana used medically has several well-documented beneficial effects for diseases such as glaucoma, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, AIDS, cancer plus many more. The federal government even recognized this up until 1937 when they made it illegal. Today 17 states including Washington D.C. have made medical marijuana available to patients who qualify. Those states include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, D.C., Delaware, Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington. As for the rest, freedom is a right! Americans need to stand up and make a difference! Our body, our choice, our freedom, our voice! Help spread awareness by sharing your stories!
